When to Plan Costs Ahead
Plan ahead for a company exchange or a gathering with friends, food, and decorations. The gift budget is only one part of the cost; wrapping, venue rental, and other shared expenses may call for a separate contribution. Estimate them before people start shopping.
How to Estimate Your Budget
Enter the number of participants, the per-gift budget, and who will pay for gifts. Add shared gathering costs, wrapping per person, and a contingency. Compare the estimate when each participant buys a gift with the estimate when the company pays for all gifts.
How to Read the Estimate
Gift costs use the budget limit, so this is an upper estimate, not a total of actual purchases. The shared contribution per person is rounded up, and any remainder is shown in the details. MySanta service fees aren’t included. Copy or print the estimate when you’re done.
