Secret Santa Participant Cards
Cards for names and gift preferences. Fill them out here, or print blank cards for participants to complete by hand.
Not sure? Leave it blank and the participant can fill it in. Changes stay in this tab.
How to Use the Cards
Give the cards to participants to fill out, then hand each gift giver the card for their recipient after names are drawn. An adult can help kids fill out their cards.
If you draw names from a hat, make sure no one draws their own name. To set exclusions, use the name draw tool, which checks the assignments.
Secret Santa Participant Cards with Gift Preferences
Prepare paper cards with names, interests, and gift ideas. They’re a handy way to collect suggestions at a group gathering when writing by hand is easier than filling out an online form.
When to Use Gift Preference Cards
Use them at the office, with friends, or at a family exchange with kids. The organizer can print cards with names in advance or hand out blank ones. Paper cards work well when everyone is together to discuss a budget and write down gift preferences.
How to Prepare Cards for Printing
Choose blank cards or cards with names. For named cards, paste a list of up to 100 participants and add gift preferences for each person if you like. Choose an audience and review the design. Each A4 or US Letter sheet holds four cards with cut lines. Choose paper size before printing.
How to Use Completed Cards
Ask participants to share a few gift ideas, their interests, and anything they’d rather not receive. After names are drawn, give each Secret Santa the card for their recipient. This tool doesn’t draw names or send forms. You can save a PDF from the print dialog.
How to Use the Cards
Print one card for each participant. For example: “Jamie: likes sci-fi and unsweetened tea; please avoid candy.” The cards share gift preferences, but they don’t assign recipients.
